Dr. Rahman Tashakkori, PhD
Dr. Tashakkori serves as the Lowe's Distinguished Professor of Computer Science
at Appalachian State University. He currently serves as the program director of the NSF Supported LSAMP and S-STEM scholarship programs and the ECRS Computer Science Innovation and Entrepreneurship program.
Dr. Tashakkori's research interests include Image Processing, Data Science, Computational Methods, Honey Bee Monitoring Systems, Stochastic Simulation, and Computer Science Education. Dr. Tashakkori's latest research on honey bee health monitoring can be found at AppMAIS . Dr. Tashakkori
is a Senior Member of IEEE.
