Dr. Rahman Tashakkori, PhD
Dr. Tashakkori is the Chairperson and Lowe's Distinguished Professor of Computer Science
at Appalachian State University. He Serves as the program director of the NSF Supported S-STEM program and the ECRS program.
Dr. Tashakkori's research interests include Image Processing, Data Science, Computational Methods, Honey Bee Monitoring Systems, Stochastic Simulation, and Computer Science Education. Dr. Tashakkori
is a Senior Member of IEEE.
