Dr. Sarah's Math 2240 Class Highlights Summer 2005 Page

The following is NOT HOMEWORK unless you miss part or all of the class. See the Main Class Web Page for ALL homework and due dates.

  • Mon June 27 Finish dynamical systems on WebCT. Begin chapter 6 and review the geometry of eigenvectors on WebCT, highlighting the transformations and discuss the corresponding general matrix transformations along with their corresponding eigenvalues and eigenvectors. Hand back test 2 and give students the chance to work on revisions or final project.

  • Tues June 28 Take questions on test 3. Demo geometric transformations and computer graphics (VLA c4s5) on WebCT along with problems 1 and 3.

  • Wed June 29 Test 3

  • Thur June 30 Go over aspects of test 3 for extra credit. Each person shares a few words related to their abstract. Conclude with c4s5 demo on WebCT. Hand out informal evaluations.

  • Fri July 1 Poster presentations and course evaluations.
  • Mon June 20 Continue with 4.5 and 4.6.
