Note: You will see that ages, spelling of names and other info changes from
year to year in the records. The information depends greatly on the record
takers ability to communicate effectively with the information giver,
especially given language/accent barriers.
I have created separate webpages for early
Landsberg records in Poland, Landsbergs in
Argentina, Helfmans in Swierze, and Chaim Landsberg
There are many more records of distant cousins and ancesters that I drew from in creating the tree but have not had time to type up. I
would be happy to pass on.

Barry recalls Baer as a second marriage for Ida.
Chana Zimmerman Bienstock
was buried in Staten Island at the United Hebrew Cemetery
Notes
Barry remembers perhaps grandparents of his in this country - he is not sure of the Landsberg or Zimmerman side. But they probably would have died in the 1940s,
he thinks. He says that Julius went to visit them in the lower east side and they had an outhouse, with the man being a larger man.
Numerous relatives recall Argentinian relatives.
I have created separate webpages for early
Landsberg records in Poland,
Landsbergs in
Argentina, Helfmans in Swierze, and Chaim Landsberg
Joel heard that Henry Landsberg's first marriage had led to family members
in NYC, but that there hadn't been contact. See
Chaim Landsberg, the son of Henry
Dennis recalls meeting a couple of the Landsbergs, perhaps from Henry's first
marriage, in the 1960s in Brooklyn at a small theater in Sheepshead Bay,
where they either owned it or managed it. They recognized his name
from the reservation.
Barry recalled visiting a relative in Florida who might have been through WWII in Poland, and came to New York from there,
with the name sounding something like Devora Peretze. Related to Branche Zimmerman's side of the family.
Gaye recalls that her parents once took Brancha to see a woman who she called her sister-in-law, also her best friend growing up in Dubenkia. This was a visit from
the Landsbergs in
Argentina.
