outstanding research presentation by an undergraduate at the Mathematical
Association of America's Southeastern regional conference at Georgia Southern
University. His talk was "Scaled Structures and Self-Similarity in the
Morse-Thue Sequence."

was held on April 13 and 14 at North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro, NC.
Darren's research project was on Grid-based Image Processing.
