The 4G++ Project is a research project that is funded by the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) of Egypt and focuses on a subset of the core technologies needed for evolving current wireless systems, as realized in the third generation partnership project (3GPP) Long Term Evolution (LTE) system, towards 4th generation system as defined in the ITU IMT-advanced.

I participated in the following two research packages:

  • Channel-Aware Radio Resource Management and Scheduling in LTE and LTE-Advanced Systems.
  • Inter-Cell Interference Coordination (ICIC).
